CANCELLATION POLICIES

Speaker Cancellation by Sponsor:

GROUP reserves the right to cancel this Agreement without liability to GROUP in the event of SPEAKER'S failure to meet deadlines as set forth in the SPEAKER’s contract.

Cancellation By Speaker:

SPEAKER may cancel this Contract without liability to GROUP and GROUP shall have no liability of any kind to SPEAKER if such cancellation is for reasons that make it impossible for SPEAKER to fulfill contract commitments. Such reasons are limited to SPEAKER'S illness or injury, death in SPEAKER'S immediate family, or acts of God. In the event SPEAKER cancels this Contract for any of the aforementioned reasons or any other reasons, SPEAKER shall contact as soon as possible the party designated by GROUP in this Contract.

Cancellation By Exhibitor:

EXHIBITOR may cancel this Contract without liability to GROUP and GROUP shall have no liability of any kind to EXHIBITOR if such cancellation is for reasons that make it impossible for EXHIBITOR to fulfill Contract commitments - such reasons are limited to acts of God. In the event EXHIBITOR cancels this Contract for any other reason, EXHIBITOR shall contact as soon as possible the party designated by GROUP in this Contract and full refunds will be granted until 60 days prior to event. Refunds will be granted less $100 until October 1 and no refunds will be granted after that date. GROUP does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses, including charges made for travel and lodging.

Conference Cancellation for Speakers:

GROUP and SPEAKER agree that the performance of this Agreement is subject to termination without liability for either party upon the occurrence of any circumstance beyond the control of either party - such as acts of God, strikes, labor disputes, government requisitions, restrictions or regulations on travel, hotel or facility availability, commodities or supplies, war or apparent act of war, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, or any other comparable calamity casualty or condition (collectively a “Force Majeure”) - to the extent that such circumstances make it commercially impracticable to maintain the Agreement or hold the Conference. If Agreement is cancelled due to force majeure any deposit paid to SPEAKER in advance shall be returned to GROUP within 60 days of cancellation. It is agreed by both GROUP and SPEAKER that “best efforts” will be made to adapt if an alternative to the Conference – virtual or otherwise - is available.

Conference Cancellation for Exhibitors:

GROUP and EXHIBITOR agree that the performance of this Agreement is subject to termination without liability for either party upon the occurrence of any circumstance beyond the control of either party - such as acts of God, strikes, labor disputes, government requisitions, restrictions or regulations on travel, hotel or facility availability, commodities or supplies, war or apparent act of war, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, or any other comparable calamity casualty or condition (collectively a “Force Majeure”) - to the extent that such circumstances make it commercially impracticable to maintain the Agreement or hold the Conference. If Agreement is cancelled due to force majeure any funds paid to GROUP in advance shall be returned to EXHIBITOR within 60 days of cancellation. GROUP does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses, including charges made for travel and lodging. Refunds will be processed within 60 days of notification. It is agreed by both GROUP and EXHIBITOR that “best efforts” will be made to adapt if an alternative to the Conference – virtual or otherwise - is available.

Conference Cancellation for Attendees:

GROUP and ATTENDEE agree that the performance of this Agreement is subject to termination without liability for either party upon the occurrence of any circumstance beyond the control of either party - such as acts of God, strikes, labor disputes, government requisitions, restrictions or regulations on travel, hotel or facility availability, commodities or supplies, war or apparent act of war, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, or any other comparable calamity casualty or condition (collectively a “Force Majeure”) - to the extent that such circumstances make it commercially impracticable to maintain the Agreement or hold the Conference. If Agreement is cancelled due to force majeure any funds paid to GROUP in advance shall be returned to ATTENDEE within 60 days of cancellation. It is agreed by both GROUP and ATTENDEE that “best efforts” will be made to adapt if an alternative to the Conference is available. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event or a transition to a virtual event, GROUP has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the virtual or postponed event at the new future date.
