National School Counseling Week is Feb. 3-7, 2025. Sponsored by ASCA, the week highlighted the tremendous impact school counselors have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.

We hope that National School Counseling Week 2025 will provide school counselors across Iowa with the opportunity to focus attention on the unique contributions of professional school counselors and how students, families, schools, and communities are positively impacted by their work.

ISCA encourages all school counselors to use National School Counseling Week as a springboard to advocate for the profession of school counseling, not just during this special week, but every week of the year. Tell your school, your students, and your community what school counselors do to support them. Highlight the tremendous impact school counselors have in helping students achieve school success and becoming career, college and citizen ready.
