Professional Membership $70
Professional Members are licensed professional school counselors and currently employed as a school counselor, school counseling consultant, counselor educator, or director/coordinator in a PK-12 setting in Iowa. College/Career Transition Counselors who are licensed school counselors are also included in the "Professional" membership category.
(College/Career Transition Counselors who are not licensed school counselors should sign up for the Affiliate Membership.)
Retired Membership $45
Retired Members are retired school counselors, school counseling consultants, counselor educators, and coordinators in elementary, middle, senior high, and post-high school settings in Iowa.
Student Membership $35
Student Members are currently enrolled full- or part-time in a graduate program in school counseling.
Affiliate Membership $70
The Affiliate Membership is for anyone who does not meet the above category requirements, including College/Career Transition Counselors who are not licensed school counselors.
Membership is open to all school counselors in an educational setting, as well as retired members of the school counseling community.
Membership Dues:
Payment of dues or other contributions to ISCA are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. They may, however, be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses to the extent not allocated to lobbying expenditures. ISCA estimates that the non-deductible portion of your dues for 2026/2027 is 40%.
