I am from Northwest Iowa and serve as the 6–12 School Counselor and Registrar at Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Community School District, as well as Professional Development Co-Chair on the ISCA Operations Team. The reason I got involved in the Iowa School Counselor Association (ISCA) was for the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally by connecting with a statewide network of passionate, like-minded school counselors. I’m passionate about mental health and dedicated to advocating for students with mental health needs. Outside of work, my husband and I stay busy with our three kids, Lennon, Briar, and Rell, who keep us on our toes. We enjoy a lifestyle rooted in agriculture, spending our time showing livestock, farming, fishing, and of course cheering on our local sports teams.
